Located in Gravatá, Pernambuco, Residência Noir was conceived as a weekend home for a family—a place designed for slowing down, socializing, and connecting with nature.
The project is rooted in the integration of social spaces and their direct relationship with the outdoors. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly into one another, while large windows maximize natural light and reinforce the continuity between the interior and exterior. At the heart of this layout, an internal courtyard serves as a breathing space, facilitating natural light and ventilation while bringing the landscape into the home.
Wood plays a pivotal role in the project’s identity, featuring prominently in both the architecture and the interiors. In dialogue with stone, light-colored volumes, and darker elements, it creates an atmosphere of warmth, sophistication, and Brazilian character. This same design language extends to the interiors, ensuring continuity across architecture, materials, and furnishings.
More than just a retreat, Noir aims for an architecture that remains relevant over time, balancing contemporary expression with Brazilian influences.
A home where sophistication meets Brazilian character in an architecture designed to endure.
